Welcome
I’m Liz, a qualified and experienced therapist practising in Bristol and London
I provide a calm, non-judgemental environment, a safe, private space and a range of methods and techniques to help people through difficult times.
The first step
Asking for help doesn’t come easily – whether you’re experiencing mental illness, trauma, life crisis or just a general sense of dissatisfaction
So I try to make this first difficult step as easy and painless as possible by arranging an informal half-hour chat on the phone – with no charge or obligation. This gives us an opportunity to get a sense of each other and see if we’re a good fit.

Collaborative discovery
As an integrative counsellor, I’m not wedded to one particular discipline or technique. Instead, I work with each client to discover what’s best for their unique needs.
I’ve worked with people with anxiety and depression, people going through life crises such as bereavement and relationship breakdown, and people suffering from trauma and childhood sexual abuse. I have experience working with neurodiversity, such as autism and dyslexia.
In addition to private practice, I’ve provided counselling at non-profit organisations in London and Cirencester, and for organisations working with victims of torture and abuse. Prior to qualifying, I worked in the charitable sector and had a career in the film industry.
